A Study On The Art Of Carlos

In 1966 Carlos Saura was famous for the film named La caza in Cannes Film Festival. In the decades after that Carlos Saura tireless and sold more than 20 films in succession.His angle of view is special and he has rich imagination meanwhile his films have strong Spanish culture connotation. He take a place in The Spanish movie even history of film all over the world.He has been He and Louis Bunuel was a mentor. So His later style influenced by Bunuel,but he didn’t imitated the“Surrealism Film” which the genre put forward by Bunuel and then he added his own consideration to change to a kind of “magic realism”.Because of the lack of the research data of Carlos Saura in China,we can’t find all his film which be made before 1975. The main research method is analyze about his creation experience, his theme of movie and his forms of art besides quote some information from the book named “THE FILMS OF CARLOS SAURA” which wrote by English.So far there isn’t has a comprehensive study of the films of Carlos Saura in china. This thesis stress study the survey to political situation in Saura’s films,his consideration of humanity and the process of the change of his films.I wish through study the films of Carlos Saura we can find a new way for Chinese film. The conclusion of this thesis is that he is a director who can see what others cannot,No matter how ordinary appearance he can dig into with exploring human nature; he is a flexible director,his creation style is change from change of his consideration ceaselessly; he is a diligent director, in his Creation heyday he almost made a film every year,and now he is already 83 years old he still preparring his new film.In him we can see the wisdom of a filmmaker, focus and dedication.
