Double negative is difficult to grasp for learners in the teaching of Chinese as a second language. In Chinese Proficiency Standards and Grammar Class Outline (《汉语水平标准å'Œè¯­æ³•ç­‰çº§å¤§çº²ã€‹),the double negative is belonging to the B levels. Its grammatical function is very important. In the thesis, the object of study is double negative with Interlanguage Errors in HSK dynamic composition corpus of the Beijing Language and Culture University. This thesis mainly focuses on analyzing students’ using abilities of Chinese double negative, categorizing the types and identifying the reasons of their errors, investigating the content of double negative in the outline and teaching materials, and putting forward corresponding teaching suggestions. It aims to help to teach Chinese double negative.This thesis includes the following parts:The first part is an introduction..It introduces the meaning of choosing this title and object of study. It elaborates the double negative of ontology research and research in second language. Current ontology research about double negative results are more in second language teaching research. The study applies the theory of Interlanguage and Error Analysis to describe the errors of double negative.The second part retrieves and analyses double negative errors in HSK dynamic composition corpus. These errors were collected and classified, including omission, addition, misuse, wrong spelling and composition incomplete or redundant. The main reasons of the double negative sentences error are negative transfer of native language, negative transfer of target language, students’ own factors and so on.The third part is the investigation and analysis on the teaching outline and teaching materials. This thesis examines the three sets of teaching outlines and the two sets of textbooks, and describes double negative respectively and then analyzes the unreasonable and need to be improved in the outlines and textbooks.The last part is the conclusion. It summarizes results of double negative error analysis, as well as the innovations and shortcomings.
