An Analysis Of The Similarities And Differences Of The Same Word

In this paper,firstly,we collected 982 pairs of order reversed words from Modern Chinese Dictionary(6th edition)(modern Chinese 6 for short),then according to the definition of inverse morphemes words,we screened 830 inverse morphemes words pairs from them.On account of these words,we made an analysis of their similarities and differences,and the order of this analysis is "part of speech-word’s meaning-the function of grammar-words usage"Besides introduction and conclusion,the analysis of inverse morphemes words’ similarities and differences in this paper was mainly discussed from four perspectives.Firstly, The similarities and differences of inverse morphemes words by part of speech.I analyzed the similarities and differences from 830 pairs of inverse morphemes words which were screened from Modern Chinese 6. According to their part of speech and the number of their senses,i analyzed the similarities and differences of inverse morphemes words by part of speech.according to the number of senses,i divided inverse morphemes words into three types:part of speech are totally same,accounting for 68.56%,part of their senses shares the same part of speech,accounting for 14.21%,and none of their senses’ part of speech is same,accounting for 17.23%.Secondly, The similarities and differences of inverse morphemes words by word’s meaning.In base of the analysis of chapter one,this chapter only study 687 pairs of inverse morphemes words,which are inverse morphemes words with a single meaning and inverse morphemes words with multiple meanings whose Senses shares the same part of speech.according to the analyzing the difference of inverse morphemes words’rational meaning and color meaning and the number of their senses.i made a further classification and analysis of inverse morphemes words’ meaning. I divided inverse morphemes words by same part of speech into three types:word’s meaning are totally same,accounting for 44.69%,none of their senses shares the same meaning,accounting for 38.14%,and part of their senses share the same meaning,accounting for 17.17%.Thirdly,The similarities and differences of inverse morphemes words by function of grammar.In base of the analysis of chapter one and two,this chapter mainly studied the inverse morphemes unambiguous words share the same part of speech and the inverse morphemes ambiguous words with Senses shares the same part of speech and the same meaning,accounting for 237 pairs.according to the analytic result,i made a classification and analysis of inverse morphemes word’s function of grammar.I divided inverse morphemes words by function of grammar into two types:word’s function of grammar are totally same,accounting for 37.55%,none of their senses shares the same function of grammar,accounting for 62.43%.Fourthly,The similarities and differences of inverse morphemes words by words usage.In base of the analysis in the first three chapters,this chapter mainly talked about the inverse morphemes ambiguous words with same part of speech and same function of grammar,and the inverse morphemes ambiguous words whose senses shares the same part of speech,same word’s meaning and same function of grammar,accounting for 89 pairs.In this chapter,i calculated the frequency of these words in CCL corpus,analyze the reason for their differ,and pick three pairs of inverse morphemes words which got the lowest,medial and highest frequency differ, show their frequency of use and analyze the reason for the differ.
