In the new century, under the dialectical relationship between tradition and innovation the Mongolian literature has formed multiple genres, varied stylea and forms. The regional literature as an important phenomenon of contemporary Mongolian literature development, without doubt has its value and significance. This paper take the writer of the Alxaa in Inner Mongolia as both one of the founders of contemporary Alxaa literature, A Baater (1944-2008) and his poem novel "Chaos" as the research objects, through the elucidation of the art form, theme and narrative skill of novel, demonstrate its literature value.This paper is divided into five parts, each part of the main contents are as follows:The introduction part presents A Baater (1944-2008) and content summary of his magnum poem novel"Chaos" then on the basis of it explain the significance of selected topic, the research status and research methods. The first chapter interpretates the form of the art features about the poem novel"Chaos" mainly from the literary genre, language style, layout arrangement aspects. The second chapter based on the theory of narratology expounds narrative skills and writing characteristics mainly from the narrator, narrative object and its narrative perspective, narrative time and space aspects.The third chapter under the combination of content and form gradually extending to the theme,indicate the theme of the novel from the historical truth, darkness and ignorance, human enlightenment this there aspects.Conclusion part briefly sum up and evaluates the above text content, consider that A Baater and his poem novel "Chaos" express the cultural revolution narrative with a unique narrative skill.Believe that this poem novel has an important significance to the reaserch or the contemporary Alxaa literature and the contemporary Mongolian literature.
