In the history of the Qing Dynasty,Prince Zheng has 17 princes inherited the title,they are more or less involved in the Qing Dynasty politics.As the degree of participation in the politics of the Qing Dynasty,Prince Zheng can be divided into two stages.The first stage is before the Qing Dynasty to Yongzheng period,this stage the Prince Zheng lineage represented by the first generation of Prince Zheng Jirgalang and the second generation of Prince Zheng Jidu,they participate in the politics of the Qing Dynasty as their military power.The second stage is from Qianlong to Xuantong years,this stage the Prince Zheng lineage represented by the eighth generation of Prince Zheng Depei and the thirteenth generation of Prince Zheng Duanhua,they participate in the politics of the Qing Dynasty mainly in political affairs.Prince Zheng has different political status in different periods and it depends largely on their relationship with the imperial power.The Prince Zheng lineage has the high status in the Qing Dynasty when they keep intimate with the imperial power,otherwise they will be intervention by the imperial power.The sixth Prince Zheng was cut the title by Yongzheng because he joined in the dispute in Qianlong years,the thirteenth Prince Zheng Duanhua was cut the title by Tongzhi because of he conflict with the Empress Dowager Ci Xi.Prince Zheng is the distantly related clan of the Hereditary indiscriminately for the prince with Nurhachi.The imperial power is obviously intervention the inherited of Prince Zheng.The imperial power involved in the prince of the earliest dates can be traced back to Kangxi years,the fourth generation of Prince Zheng Labu was cut title because of the defeat in war in Kangxi twenty-one years(1682).To the Qianlong period,Prince Zheng title first from the son of Jirgalang transfer to Jirgalang's brother Feiyangwu Department in the thirteen years of Qianlong(1748),then Prince Zheng title changed back to the son of Jirgalang in the seventeen years of Qianlong(1752).These changes shows that the degree of imperial power intervenes Prince Zheng is gradually deepened even to the degree of Prince Zheng's title can be changed according to the emperor's preferences.
