As the user’s growing aesthetic demand, icon design has gradually become a new member in the field of art. Icon design as a new territory of graphic design, is waiting for more people to participate. The evolution of the icon design represents the latest wave of era. Icon design for emotional care and to the spread of culture will cause the user different psychological feeling. Through the icon design, cold hardware can be warm by means of visual present in front of the user. Icon as now most closely contact with the user of the product design, is bound to be towards more efficient information, better visual experience, and the direction of more humanistic care.In this paper, through summarizing the development course of icon and its effect, summing up the categories of icon design, in order to researches in icon design. Looking for related discipline theory application in logo design, and the advantage of the characteristics of the interaction framework and visual work principle of icon design method is summarized, the design principle of mining the; Use for icon design in-depth study the anatomy of find icon design features of cultural context, using an summary of the design principles of icon design trend of thinking, and the future outlook icon design.
