UI Design Of APP E-books Research

Nowadays, the APP is being increasingly exposed to the public. Cell phones, oneof the new media, are no longer just a communication tool, but also take the burden of"the fifth media". Stimulated by the success of APP applied in the smart phones, itsprospect in the mobile market is also promising. Early E-books could only be read onthe internet, but with the continuous development of mobile phones, they graduallybecame downloadable in mobile phones. The APP E-book has also becomes one of thefirst applications of smart phones. At present, many APP E-book user interfaces alsocontinue to reform, and judging from the current form of user interface design, thereare more places worthy of improvement and scrutiny.The user interface design is a system engineering, combined with cognitivepsychology, design science as well as linguistics, etc. The user interface design ofcurrent E-books mainly focuses on the function, the convenience of page-turning,reading line by line, as well as the calling out and calling in of lines, which is urgenttechnological problems to be solve at the moment. However, the reading context of thetext and graphics on the limited screen has not been further discussed, nor has theresearch on the visual health composed of the text. This paper will try solving theseproblems through the research on the user interface design. Combined with the regularadvantages of E-books as well as the basic laws of traditional books design, and basedon the reading principle, this paper will find a electronic user interface design methodwhich is more “human” and APP e-book which is more concise and understandable oninterpersonal interaction.This paper will discuss the project from three respects. The first chapter(introduction)will offer the reason and significance of the project. The second chapter will discussthe latest developing trend and future advantages of APP E-books. The third chapterwill further analysis on the existing design style and type of the APP E-books; raise theimportance of the “user experience” and “visual health” on the APP E-books design; introduce the design language on APP E-books design: icon design, content design andfunction design; propose related opinions on related research methods.
