A Study On The Explanation Of The Name Of The Book Of Songs

The Ming Wu interpretation of the songs descended endlessly from the Han dynasty to the Tang dynasty. With great achievements achieved, and a solid foundation for further research was laid.By the Song dynasty, this academic activities have made rapid progress, during this period, the style of Neo-Confucianism provided a new perspective for the Ming Wu interpretation of the songs.Wang Fuzhi’s Shi Jing Bai Shu is a book that mainly gives a detailed account of the Ming Wu of the songs.Against the Ming Wu interpretation of the songs,Wang Fuzhi had its unique interpretation strategies and styles, On the research methods,he exploited the advantages and bypassed the disadvantages.For previous captions, he benefited from criticism, providing new ideas and avoiding the bias, his empirical, scientific rigorous academic spirit took on a new look to the Ming Wu research of the book of songs.In General,Shi Jing Bai Shu Played the important role in inheriting the Ming Wu interpretation of the songs. This thesis is divided into four parts:The introduction includes four aspects:firstly, for timing in the Qing dynasty, briefly discusses the history of the Ming Wu interpretation of the songs;secondly, makes a brief introduction of Wang Fuzhi’s life and academic achievements, the research findings and version of the book; and then, defines the Ming Wu; finally, explains the the thesis selected reasons and research methods.Chapter one is "Concepts and Realities complement each other".First of all, briefly introduces the concept of name and reality of ancient sages, among which focuses on Wang Fuzhi’s views. Secondly, from the named reasons, different names, nicknames, names’ancient and present evolvement, three aspects unveil the "name" research. Finally, tries to reveal the"reality" research from the perspective of culture.Chapter two is"The methods of Ming Wu interpretation in Shi Jing Bai Shu" including three major ways.The first method is to "Explain the Ming Wu from the philology angle",which is the traditional exegetical method.The sequent two methods, "Explain the Ming Wu based on the facts ","Describe the Ming Wu directly",these two kinds of methods can reflect the characteristics of this book.Chapter three is" The Ming Wu interpretation for the contribution of Shi Jing Bai Shu",includes two aspects.One is the contribution of Ming Wu textual research,the other is the contribution of creating the academic atmosphere.The innovation of this thesis is the research perspective, which is by means of the Ming Wu subject,the theoretical framework is based on Wang Fuzhi’s concept of name and reality and Ming Wu Interpretation thought,in order to clarify the position of this book in the history of the Ming Wu interpretation of the songs.
