This paper aims to summarize wang Er-min historiography research paradigm and historiography thought, to historians describe some scholars research model in Taiwan,promote cross-strait academic understanding.At the same time show a new trend under the influence of traditional scholars in Taiwan is how to do it match well of Chinese and western,how to do it under the westernization trend by traditional culture, to understand the perspective to re-examine the past cultural value,and to rethink the traditional concept of error recognition and understanding.Wang Er-min is one of its important Taiwan Nangang school scholars,in the early years, he was educated by Mr. Kuo Ting-yee,and then entered the Institute of Modern history Academia Sinica doing scholarly research work. The scope of his research field is very wide, involving modern military history, cultural history, history of thought, historical method etc, especially to trend of thought in late Qing dynasty. Due to geograpliical and political influence of Taiwan, the styles of Wang er-min’s history both have traditional historians models and a Western paradigm.Because influenced by his teacher Kuo Ting-yee, Wang er-min pay attention to the historical data, collecting the historical materials as much as possible to before he doing the historical research.Because he was influenced by other scholars such as Wang Dezhao, he also paying attention to history theory.Believing the study of history is useful on studying history. When he face up to the historical problems,he was more affected by John King Fairbank who use the impact and the reaction to solve the historical questions.so he focus on International impact of China and China’s internal response, when have a discussion on ideological trend,he is rely on this approach. From the cultural perspective, Wang is agree with the viewpoint of Qian Mu, thought that the Chinese traditional culture has the incomparable superiority of Western. Against ignorant criticism of traditional culture, he want to Stand in their ancestors’perspective to rediscover the value of traditional culture, and used to solve the problem of current society. In terms of attitude towards Confucian scholars in late Qing dynasty, Wang also uses his unique vision to observe, in the Way to micro-history, to show the world how ordinary scholars within the limited scope of knowledge,as far as possible in their own ways to keep up with the pace of the times, Trying to turn people into believing that Confucian pedantry is wrong idea. This article from Wang Er-min’s life and learn edge is the breakthrough point, gradually playing out what he would do when he faced the historical issues, and discusses the history contained in his historical research and study models.The article mainly consists of three plates:introduction, text and conclusion. The text is divided into four parts, the first part discusses Wang Er-min’s academic origin, so as to understand his growth background and his academic pursuits. The second part aims to Wang’s history study characteristics of deep excavations, from three aspects,the purpose of historical method and theory of attitude, the way to divide historical schools, as well as in the study of ideological history of unique methods, uniqueness and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of his research. The third part expounds Wang reflections on Chinese traditional culture, through the collation of Wang to re explain the relationship between heaven and man and the kingly way thought, reflected Wang Er-min on traditional culture in-depth understanding of awe and unique. The fourth part focus on Application of Wang Er-min on the research methods of micro history, through the use of the purpose of the micro history, to summarize Wang Er-min’s history idea and not to stick to one pattern history style. I hope that from the above aspects to characteristics of the Wang Er-min historiography research discusses and analysis, to show the unique history research style of Taiwan Nangang school and Wang Ermin, to provide reference for the parties to historians.
