A Historical Study On Minorities Of The Sixteen States Period

During the Sixteen States Period, many a state only survived for a short time. Although that, many rulers in these countries laid special emphasis on descriptions of their own history. Prosperous especially on minorities was the historical writing in this period, and thoughts of historiography were more advanced than before at the same time, which makes the historical writing in the Sixteen States Period be an important and colorful part of Wei—Jin Dynasties and Sixteen Kingdoms histories.By describing the systems of those established historical officials, the truth and great achievements of historical writing etc., this article will discuss the reasons, the processes and influence of minorities' historical writing development in this period. In addition, I will just try my best to make some simple discussions about those uncertain problems.
