In the process of human interaction, the social synchronization is defined as the process of individual matching with others or groups. The individuals will consciously or unconsciously transform their attitude, mood, behavior, and ego in order to proceed a successful social activity. The synchronization can be interpreted as a beneficial human interaction because which is related to the evolution and a series of positive effects will be produced after the process of this social synchronization. Most synchronous behaviors are unconscious when individual proceed to synchronize with another or group. After the synchronization, the individual will positively evaluate these who he interacted with, which is likely to enhance the group cohesion and promote the cooperation. The synchronism performed by individual can be explained by the coupling awareness-behavior which is considered that the synchronization is triggered by the activation of the brain after the process of awareness, which is a theoretical explanation to the unconscious synchronization. For establishing positive social relation, in addition to keep sync with the positive individual and group people even be consistent with the negative, however, this will result in a very contradictory and negative influence on the individual. The contradiction is from the motivation of self-protection and the unceasing coordinating motivation promoted by relation. According to risk regulation theory, the individual will automatically activate the avoidance motive when facing threats. On the contrary, approach motivation begins to dominate on the security situation. The started secure attachment will result in broaden-and-build cycle, which will be a positive influence on individual interpersonal adaptation. When under threat, the individuals will automatically activate the attachment system, thus keeping themselves from harm. Therefore, from the perspective of negative social synchronization from the individual to the group, this research investigates the internal mechanism of negative social synchronization and conditions and inspects how the secure attachment affect the negative social synchronization. Objectives:This research will use the scramble sentences task to prime negative social groups, and then inspect the negative social synchronization through the implicit association test and investigate the influence of the negative social synchronization as well as the internal mechanism because of the prime of the secure attachment. This study includes a preliminary experiment and three formal experiments. The preliminary experiments will be used to select different valance of social groups through the questionnaire survey; For the first experiment, the difference of synchronization occurring among three initiated valance groups will be investigated via the implicit association test; The second experiment will inspect how the prime of secure attachment impacting on negative social synchronization; The third one will discuss the internal mechanism of social synchronization after priming secure attachment. Methods:From the first experiment, the selected positive, negative and neutral groups are primed, then use the implicit association test to investigate the synchronization effect. Experimentally, the randomly selected 98 college students are randomly assigned to a positive teachers primed group, a neutral sanitation workers primed group and a negative terrorist primed group respectively. And then let them finish the scramble sentences task to achieve the aim of priming the different valence of social groups. Finally through the implicit association test compare them with the lawyers in the neutral group, which is used to study whether the individual socially synchronize to the primed group. In the second experiment, the phenomenon of individual synchronizing to the negative group and the influence of the prime of the security attachment on the negative social synchronization are studied. Experimentally, randomly selected 101 college students, after finishing the Experiences in Close Relationship Scale, are randomly assigned to a security attachment prime group, a normal control group and a positive emotions primed group respectively. The priming paradigm of the experiment totally adopts recall writing task, and then social groups are primed through the same task of the scramble sentences. Finally use the implicit association test to investigate whether the individual socially synchronize to the primed group. The third experiment thoroughly discusses the inner mechanism of the primed of the secure attachment affecting on the negative social synchronization. In this experiment, the randomly selected 66 college students are randomly assigned to a secure attachment primed group and a normal control group.Through the recall writing task prime their secure attachment and activate these two groups in the same way. And then using the lexical decision task to study the mediating effect of the approach-avoidance motive on starting groups and synchronous effect value. Finally via completing the implicit association test to investigate whether the individual perform the negative social synchronization. Results:Individuals perform different synchronous behaviors to different social groups. They synchronize with the positive and neutral groups, not with the negative. After priming the secure attachment, individuals socially synchronize with the negative group. However, the synchronization effect is not be found in the positive emotions prime group and the normal control group. The attachment style dose not play a moderate role in different primed groups and synchronous effect value. After priming the secure attachment, individual’s response to the approach words faster than to the avoidance words and the neutral. And the participants in the neutral control group perform the same reaction rate of these three kinds of words. In other words, the primed of the secure attachment can activate the approach motivation, but the results do not show that the existence of the mediating effect between the different primed groups and synchronous effect value when response to the approach words.
