The literature style of Zan is a kind of practical writing in the ancient China. As an important part of literature style of Zan, the Zan of figure painting is a product from figure painting and the words. The Han dynasty is the embryonic period of character art, and Confucianism occupies the tablet position in Zan of painting. In the Wei and Jin Dynasties, Zan of figure painting into prosperity. The characters of Zan of figure painting not only involves the contemporary celebrities, but also include sages and hermits in ancient, which reflect the active ideas during the wei and Jin period, and provide a wealth of information of the people’s spiritual beliefs and emotional world for us to study. The research in Zan of painting has made some achievements for the moment, but the most is macro research, which mainly to assist the establishment and development on the Zan of painting, and lacks the microscopic text study in the concrete stage. So there are vacancies in the special discussion on Zan of figure painting. Based on the existing research achievements in Zan of painting, this article will existing Zan of figure painting in the Wei and Jin dynasties as the research object, and combined with the historical and cultural background of the Wei and Jin Dynasties, from the point of view of inheritance and deviation of the pre Qin Confucianism to conduct a comprehensive, systematic and in-depth discussion on zan of figure painting.This paper discussed Zan of figure painting in Wei and Jin dynasty from three parts: introduction, main body and conclusion.At first, the introduction is a significant percentage to introduce the topic significance, research status, research methods and innovation.The second part is the main body of paper, dividing into five chapters. The first chapter defined the basic definition and explores the origin on Zan of figure painting, through analyzing the historical, archaeological discoveries and records of text documents. The second chapter has two parts. The one focuses on cultural reasons which prompt prosperity on Zan of figure painting in Wei and Jin. At first, the prosperity of figure painting provided reliable sources for it. The second, it’s a strong impetus from the maturation and differentiation in literature style of Zan. Moreover, it’s from evaluation of biography literature and characters impact. The other is a carding and classification on Zan of figure painting in Wei and Jin. The third part based on the deviation of Confucianism, discussed the signs of Metaphysics, Taoism and Buddhism wisdom in Zan of figure painting in Wei and Jin dynasty, which Includes elegant hermit feelings, magic world of the Immortals and clean Buddhism spirit. The fourth chapter based on the Inheritance of Confucianism, discussed the Confucian ideal kingdom, which contains the subjective of the king, minister and women. In, the king must advocating virtue and love the people, the ministers are loyal and righteousness, the women have gentle conduct and understand the important principle thoroughly.The fifth chapter studies the literary characteristics in Zan of figure painting in Wei and Jin dynasty, and analysis the special value to ancient literary of painting.The third part is the conclusion and appendix of this paper, which Summed up the ideological and literary in Zan of figure painting in Wei and Jin dynasty,and affirm its value in cultural field and literature.
