A Practical Report On The Translation Of Russian Newspaper

Translation is a bridge of communication between different cultures, promotes mutual exchanges and developments in political, economic and cultural aspects between countries. During Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Kazakhstan in September 2013, he proposed that China and Central Asia join hands to build a Silk Road economic belt. Kazakhstan is one of the important countries along the ancient silk road, so it is very necessary to know the attitude of kazakhstan toward Silk Road economic belt.This thesis selects articles related of "silk road economic belt" as the research samples of translation practice. The purpose of this thesis topic, namely by introduction to translation theories of Peter Newmark, is to summarize the concrete application of this translation practice, analysis the cases of translation practice from the aspect of vocabulary and sentence, and then to summarize a brief overview of such a translation project, showing how to utilize valid translation methods, and finally to do the translation work to achieve the desired exchange.
