Make art blustery, have sprung up like "southwest" emerging art group.From the point of art development process, modern art has been suffered from the period “Scar art” to “Five-year trendy”. The connotation of the modern works gradually accepted by the society from all walks of life which gradually become a trend in the development of modern art. During the period, in order to make works be full of realistic value, cultural value and life value,artists integrate obvious regional humanities, environment and the characteristics of life consciousness with works in the creative process. From the aspects of cultural consciousness reflection, the development of social and economy led to further improvement of the social aesthetic temperament and interest, which provided a wider creative space for artists. And the reflection of life consciousness in the works has gradually became one of the main way of the culture reflection.Therefore, this thesis will make “southwest group”artists as the research object,life consciousness embodied in the works as the research content, theory and technology of art appreciation as method to analyze the life consciousness in the works of art, and also take which as a breakthrough to explore the value of life consciousness in the creation of art.
