And The Dialectics

Lao tzu and Chuang tzu contain rich dialectic element, but they didn’t develop it as the core of their epistemology and metaphysics. Their cores are Mysticism and Tao theory,the Taoism aesthetics, ethics, language concept, scientific concept which based on these have a far-reaching impact on all aspects of Chinese life. So why there is such a difference? Past research didn’t unearth the reason from the original thinking of Lao tzu and Chuang tzu, generated a lot of misunderstandings. This paper wants to start from the original thinking of Lao tzu and Chuang tzu,translate them into philosophy language, and compare the relevant section with Kant, Hegel,Buddhist Epistemology,Phenomenology. This doesn’t intend to prove the complete correctness of Lao tzu and Chuang tzu philosophy, but wishes to clarify the original intent of Lao tzu and Chuang tzu and evoke the attention for such a rare treasure of Chinese traditional philosophy. Only the two points are assured, then we can respect and cherish the Taoist tradition and find culture self-confidence. In this relic we can find great wisdom which can contribute to solve our current cultural problems.
