A Brief Analysis Of The "New" Meaning Of The "Autumn" In The Musical Works

Dulcimer, which has a brilliant history and wonderful culture is one of the greatest Chinese musical instruments, it also play an important role in Chinese traditional music. Nowadays, as Dulcimer wide spread in society and global cultural contact, Dulcimer music has emerged a new form to us, including its composing techniques and performing skills. These changes reflected the transculturation between Chinese tradition and Western civilization. Meanwhile, the changes provided a new prospect in Dulcimer music, this is a new characteristic in modern time. My article will analyze a modern Dulcimer composition Qiu, then I will discuss its new composing technique and how to perform it in appropriate pattern. This article contains several parts: preface, the main of chapters and conclusion. In the preface I introduce the aim of the article and review the current researches about these issues. The fallowing Chapters described Qiu’s background then it would be analyzed, and I will discuss about the relationship between composition and performance. At last is the conclusion, it predict Dulcimer’s development in future.
