The aesthetic ideology of the ancient poems’ language in Tang Dynasty is very special.There are both the inheritance of the predecessors’ theory and its own unique insights. The first chapter talks about the aesthetic ideology of the ancient poems’ language in the early of Tang Dynasty. In the period, the aesthetic ideology of the ancient poems’ language was influenced by the ideology in Wei, Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties paying more attention to the form of poems and there appeared a lot of monographs, such as <Bi Zha Hua Liang> by Shangguan Yi, <Shi Sui Nao> by Yuan Jing,<Tang Chao Xin Ding Shi Ge>by Cui Rong and so on. The aesthetic ideology of ancient poems’ language has a new change when it came to the Four Great Poets of Early Tang Dynasty. They thought “Fenggu” can evaluate poems’ language and ChengZi’ang was the represent. The second chapter talks about the aesthetic ideology of the ancient poems’ language in the flourishing period of Tang Dynasty. In this period, both meter and“Fenggu” were regarded as the aesthetic standard of ancient poems’ language for the first time. It focus on conception of poetry from a macro perspective this time. The third chapter talks about the aesthetic ideology of the ancient poems’ language in the middle of Tang Dynasty.Based on the view of the flourishing period of Tang Dynasty, the middle of Tang Dynasty pursuit the harmony of artificial embellishing and native feeling. The fourth chapter talks about the aesthetic ideology of the ancient poems’ language in the end of Tang Dynasty.During the period, there were many different views of aesthetic ideology of ancient poems’ language, for instance, the poems’ language should be reflecting beauty beyond literal meaning, praising the meter and superb words of Yan Poetry.
