Rejection is a kind of political punishment for guilty officials by ancient monarchs.There are a lot of literati who have been criticized in successive dynasties.Rejection poems refer to the poems about the living conditions or personal psychological activities of the relegated literati during their relegation.They have a unique historical position and important research value in ancient Chinese literature.This paper takes the poems of relegation in the flourishing and middle Tang dynasties as the research object,and on the basis of combing the current research situation of the poems,it focuses on the comparative analysis of the representative poets of relegation and their creation in these two periods.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction first discusses the definition of relegation poetry,the research status of relegation literature and relegation poetry,especially the psychological state of relegation poets and the research situation of relegation poetry in terms of ideology and emotion,and explains the reasons for the selection of topics and research methods.The text is divided into four interrelated parts.The first part defines the meaning of relegation and relegation poems,and gives a detailed description of the number and geographical distribution of relegated scholars in the flourishing and middle Tang dynasties.The second part takes Zhang Yue,Zhang Jiuling,Wang Changling and Wang Wei in the flourishing Tang Dynasty,as well as Han Yu,Liu Zongyuan,Liu Yuxi,Yuan Zhen and Bai Juyi in the mid-Tang Dynasty as examples to investigate their relegation,and explores the factors influencing the relegation poets’ mentality from three aspects: social environment,relegation environment and political ideal.The third part discusses the similarities and differences of the thoughts and emotions of the relegation poems in the flourishing and middle Tang dynasties,and analyses them from four aspects: fear of suffering and death,yearning for relatives and friends in their homeland,persistence in official achievements and fame,and Transcendence of grief and depression.The fourth part not only explores the natural and historical imagery in the banished poems of the flourishing and middle Tang Dynasty,but also distinguishes the connection and difference in language style between the banished poems,landscape pastoral poems and frontier fortress poems.The concluding part summarizes the development and influence of relegation poems in the flourishing and middle Tang dynasties,and tries to elaborate the Enlightenment of relegation to modern life.
