Research On Social Work Involving New Countryside Culture

The CPC and Chinese government was highly concerned about the Rural in recent years, In order to promote rural development, they proposed "Construction of new socialist countryside" and "Beautiful countryside construction" and its rise to the height of national strategy. Cultural construction as an important part of the new rural construction has also been the government’s attention. May 2015, the general office of the CPC and the general office of the Chinese government issued "About deepening the rural community construction pilot guidance" (for short the Guidance), the work tasks were put forward to cultivate and practice the socialist core values as the basis, to development of the rural community culture distinctive, rich cultural life to rural residents, Strengthen the rural residents’ sense of belonging and identity. The Guidance clearly put forward the reinforcement of social work talent support requirements, and provide policy support for the social work involved in the construction of new rural culture.There are many problems in the construction of new rural culture, which are from the policy level, but also from the social level, and from the rural community itself. This study after the S town of new rural cultural construction research, combing the town of the new rural cultural construction in the main problems encountered, and the factors of these problems were analyzed and discussed. Those also provide a basis for social work to respond to community issues and needs.In theory, this research from the social work value view and professional method and the new rural cultural construction were discussed, on between the meeting point to demonstrate that professional social work in the new rural cultural construction has the advantage.In this study, the author first through the questionnaire survey, in the S town to carry out a questionnaire survey, find and tap the town’s new rural cultural construction problems and needs. Then the author applies the social case work, group professional intervention in rural community culture construction, attempts through the promotion of the role of villagers’ cultural subject, enhance the village residents relations of cooperation, enrich the cultural life of the villagers etc. practice, so as to improve the new rural culture construction into effect. At the end, the author summarizes and reflects the practical activities. Through this study, the author hopes to provide some practical experience for the path and methods of social work involved in the construction of new rural culture, but also for the local government to carry out the new rural cultural construction to provide some suggestions and reference.
