Uyghur language is an agglutinative language. The main form of form a new word in Uyghur is adding a word-forming suffix to roots and stems. Word-forming suffixes are mainly divided into two types:the nominal suffixes and the verbal suffixes. There are 14 groups of verb-forming suffixes in modern Uyghur and the "+lA(?)-" is the one of the main suffixes to form denominal verbs. As an important part of Uyghur denominal verbs, verbs which are formed by "+lA(?)-" account for a considerable amount in Uyghur derivative verbs, however the studies on them are scant. Because of the fact that the suffix "+lA(?)-" is consisted of the denominal suffix "+lA(?)-" and the deverbal suffix "-s-", even some scholars often confuses "+lA(?)-" verbs with some deverbal verbs formed by "-s-". In fact, "+lA(?)-" verbs are the verbs which are formed directly from the nouns. This article consisted of five parts. The first part is preface which mainly discusses the significance of studies of "+lA(?)-" verbs, state of current research, and the methods used in this article. The second part is about the historical research on the verb forming suffix "+lA(?)-". In this part we will state the forms and functions of "+lA(?)-" in each historic period of Uyghur language, and in other Turkic languages. In the third part we will classify the "+lA(?)-" verbs from the Uyghur Dictionary into several catagories on the bases of word classes as following:"+lA(?)-" verbs from nouns, "+lA(?)-" verbs from adjectives and the "+lA(?)-" verbs from the other word classes (numbers, adverbs, onomatopoeia, quantifiers); and then state their function in the context. The fourth part classifies the "+lA(?)-" verbs from the Uyghur Dictionary into several catagories on the bases of word stem origin as following:"+lA(?)-" verbs that are from the old Turkic stems, "+lA(?)-" verbs that are from the modern Uyghur stems and the "+lA(?)-" verbs from loan stems. The last part is conclusion.
