A Study On The Decorative Expression Of Mentoring Figures

Meticulous figure painting is a neat and fine brushwork which mainly depict objects. Using the line to shape the work and using its appearance to imply its expression. It has high national aesthetic charm. Meticulous figure painting has a long history, after thousands of years of evolution, it still maintained a decorative meaning, which are China’s traditional culture, the wisdom of the people and the evolution of the aesthetic change. Contemporary fine brushwork figure painting is based on the traditional culture and add some new elements from foreign culture. It represent the people’s life, artists and others personal life experience. Come up with a contemporary decorative style.This article is divided by three parts, the first section describes an overview of decorative concept, analyzes the relationship between decorative and fine brushwork figure painting. The second part discusses the expression method of decorative. From six aspects (shape, composition, line, color, texture), by analysis the brushwork figure from outstanding artists, they summarizes the application of decorative language and performance methods. In the third part, using my creation as an example, to further demonstrate the foregoing summary of the performance of decorative methods. Of course, in practice, I have encountered some problems.
