Study On The Application Of Yayoi Kusama’s Decorative Painting Language In The Creation Of Meticulous Figure Painting

As a contemporary avant-garde artist,Yayoi Kusama’s artistic creation covers a wide range of fields,such as feminism,primitive art,surrealism,pop art and so on.The unique artistic ideas reflected in the works have opened the era of visual psychological theory infusing artistic creation.Yayoi Kusama contains the subject’s cognitive consciousness and aesthetic views in her works,so that her works violate the logic of realistic painting,and boldly combine the eastern and Western cultural symbols with modern art media,condensed decorative painting language with very personal characteristics.The prominent feature of Kusama’s works is decoration.Based on dot symbols,various decorative forms are transformed.It can be summarized as the repeated dot repetition rich in dramatic conflicts,the application of high-purity contrasting colors in large areas and the accumulation of spatial layers.These decorative forms make the picture present a surreal sense of blurring the real and virtual boundaries.In the first part of this paper,Yayoi Kusama’s art works in different periods are taken as examples,and the reasons for the formation of her unique artistic style are analyzed from the aspects of time factors and external factors,so as to lay a foundation for further study on the expression forms of her decorative painting language.The second part analyzes the decorative painting language in Kusama’s paintings in detail from the four perspectives of composition,modeling,color and visual effects,and creatively combines the decorative painting language of Kusama with decorative patterns under the aesthetic pattern of traditional Chinese culture to show romantic and mysterious decorative effects in meticulous figure painting works.The third part will elaborate on how to draw on the expression form of Kusama’s decorative painting language,take the frame structure of meticulous figure painting as the carrier,integrate into the language of surrealism,and conceive around the theme of Floating World,so as to present the "super rational" dream effect.Yayoi Kusama’s unique and innovative decorative painting language provides a typical example and demonstration for the author to integrate tradition and modernity in the creation of contemporary meticulous figure painting,and tries to find a new breakthrough point in contemporary meticulous figure painting based on this.On the basis of maintaining the national spirit and cultural characteristics,some contemporary meticulous figure painting works absorb the beneficial elements of western art,thus giving the contemporary meticulous figure painting a new artistic conception.
