The fashion of literati in the Eastern Han Dynasty, means widely popular custom and habits in the literary class of Eastern Han Dynasty. It not only includes the hobbies about basic necessities of life, such as clothing, food, housing, moving and so on, but also includes the spiritual pursuit of higher level. As the Eastern Han Dynasty literati were in the period of first glorious age of the Chinese feudal society, so that the special class shows some traditional styles of the psychological structure of Chinese national culture. What’s more, it has special social customs that is different from other times and classes. The fashion of literati in the Eastern Han Dynasty is more representative, not only inherits the custom and habits of refined scholars in the Pre-Qin period and the Western Han Dynasty, but gets down opens the literary fashion of the WEI and Jin Dynasties. This article mainly make the Houhanshu as the primary reference sources, also including other ancient books and records of Pre-Qin and Two Han Dynasties period. By giving the typical examples draws the outline of literary unique social fashion in Han Dynasty as soon as possible, and analyses the reason. This paper is divided into the following six chapters.The first chapter: the filial piety wind in the Eastern Han Dynasty. This kind of tendency mainly embodies three large aspects including the scholars should be filial to their parents at home, respectful to their brothers when they are with them and love all the people.The second chapter: the thrifty wind of the Eastern Han Dynasty. This trend is mainly manifested in three aspects, including thrifty to self-denial, justice outweighing benefit, and thin buried wind.The third chapter: the scholars’ political participation wind in the Eastern Han Dynasty.This trend is mainly reflected in morally lofty official wind, not fear to power wind and selecting and appointing talented capable people wind.The fourth chapter: the Eastern Han Dynasty literary hermit wind. This trend is mainly manifested in two aspects: one is not to be an official, the other one is to resign.The fifth chapter: the suicide of the literati in the Eastern Han Dynasty, includes to commit suicide for preserving dignity, being wrong, fear, loyalty, forcing to despair and shame.The sixth chapter: the literary heroic spirit wind of the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is mainly manifested in the Revenge wind, advocating moral to make friends, gratitude and trouble-solving.
