A Study Of Two Paradigms In Modern Chinese History

In this paper, what we want to explore is how to think about revolution in the field of modern Chinese history study paradigm and modernization paradigm. In argument,modernization paradigm and revolution paradigm have been developed and improved, popular modern paradigm is difficult into system, exactly how the China’s modern history under the guidance of marxist theory to be better interpretation. The full text mainly is divided into four parts. The first part introduces background put forward by the "paradigm" in the field of modern Chinese history. The second part outlines revolutionary paradigm and modern paradigm introduces its main points, the theoretical basis of modern Chinese history as well as the main clues to be described. By showing the development process of two kinds of paradigm, we can transverse comparison in different historical periods of the development of two kinds of paradigm, just for the third part analysis to prepare an argument between the two kinds of paradigm. The third part is mainly about an argument between the two kinds of paradigm. The two paradigm of academic debate there are three main views. The first kind of view is that modern paradigm as a new research paradigm should replace already moss-grown revolution paradigm. The second view think that the two sides can’t replace each other, both advocate inclusive each other, but who have a relatively dominant problem. Paradigm as the leading factor,one of which is based on revolution and modernization paradigm, another is based on modern paradigm, paradigm and revolution. The third kind of view is that modern paradigm and revolution paradigm that have not fundamental opposition, both should coexist. The result of paradigm dispute, it is certain that loss the revolutionary history domination status, but in modern history, general history book discipline system still occupies a significant impact.Modern paradigm use modern perspective to interpret China’s modern history that is more popular in specific events. The fourth part points out the disadvantages of two kinds of paradigm,combined with today’s postmodern impact on historiography, a brief introduction of two kinds of paradigm of postmodern historiography deconstruction, to draw out the future direction of China’s modern history research. Finally points out that the paradigm of the modern Chinese history can be divided into revolution and modernization paradigm of thinking is a kind of binary opposition.Chinese modern history covers too much content, the two paradigms in the study must have been ignored place, can not cover everything. During modern history, do not forget to hold materialism in the general direction. Modern history of our country should be under the guidance of historical materialism, and constantly open up new areas of research, interpretation of thishistory in many ways, contribute to the understanding of modern Chinese history as a whole.
