The New Criticism also devotes itself to explore literary standard and enrich literary criticism methods.For the sake of correcting the shortages of criticism,the editor department maintain forthright criticism.Therefore The New Criticism was appreciated by readers and literary field just when it published for the first time.After five years,the column comes into being three characters including sharp style of writing,independence of spirit and extension of criticism field.Criticism with precise targets always exert effects on activities of practice, which also make differences in its factors including critic,writer,reader and ecology of literature criticism. It will promote both the column and current criticism by the way of strengthening the communication in these factors. At the same time, in order to achieve a permenant development with higher level, New Criticism needs to face and solve these problems, for example, shortages in literary theory and weakness in moral cultivation.
