Research On Structural Equation Model Of The Influence Of Personality On Residents' Income

Since 1970, China began to reform the income distribution system and other economic system. In this period, our country’s income distribution system and relationship have changed a lot, which caused the serious imbalance of social income distribution and the economic began to grow in a high-spread. A lot of professionals in the world have researched the factors that lead to the income-difference in China, from the view of theoretical and empirical. This text will try to research the problem in a new view-- how personality traits have influence on income-difference.At first, I verify a hypothesis that character has influence on one’s career choice through the Structural Equation Model. A great many of scholars have made qualitative analysis on the relationship between character and career choice, but few of them did quantitative analysis. On the basis of original theory, some hypothesizes about the influence of personality on career choice are put forward, and these hypothesizes are quantitatively verified by Structural Equation Model. The result is that:(1)More extroverts become staff and related personnel, business and service personnel or self-employed than introverts;(2)Easy-going people are prefer to work as business man or service person;(3)People with strong responsibility are more likely to become production and transportation equipment operator or research professional technology;(4)Personality trait have no significant effect on the choice of a person working in the field of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fisheries and water conservation.Secondly, Variance Analysis Model is used to research whether a job have significant effect on one’s income, and the result as follows:(1)Occupation have significant effect on one’s income. Unit leaders, corporate leaders and professionals have the highest income, working in the field of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fisheries and water conservation have the lowest income, and other professional staff’s income have little difference.(2)There is a big difference between employer and employee and the employers’ income is far more than that of the employees. The results show that job description have significant effect on one’s income, that is job description is an important factor that affect people’s income.Through quantitative analysis, the text proves that people of different character always choose different occupation in their life and different job always have different income, so person’s character may make difference on their income. A person’s character is not only related to heredity, but also the more important is the environment they live. There is no good or bad character, however in the process of raising children character, parents should pay attention to some tips:(1)Parents could not spoiling children;(2)Parents should set a good example to their children;(3)Parents are better create a home environment that full of friendly, positive and hard;(4)when children make some mistakes or performed well, parents should better criticize or praise them, so that children may form a good life and value views.
