The Creative Features And Performance Of Shostakovich 's First Piano Concerto Op.35

In twentieth Century, the Soviet composer, pianist, Dmitri Dmitriyevich Shostakovich created varies type of music work in his life, Piano work occupied important position amount all works Shostakovich created, the reason behind that is that he is not only an composer, but also a pianist. For piano concerto creation, the quantity of his work is limited, only two including 《Piano Concerto No. 1》 Op.35 and 《Piano Concerto No. 2》 Op.102. In this article, the author will aim at his 《Piano Concerto No. 1》 Op.35 to do analyze and research. The main part of article is divided into three parts listed below: Part 1 describes life overview and historical background of Shostakovich, musical creation of Shostakovich and the creation style characteristic of his work respectively. Part 2 demonstrates creative features of Shostakovich’s 《Piano Concerto No. 1》 mainly from two sides which are musical structure and neoclassicism. Part 3 combine with author’s performance understanding to expound musical performance interpretation of Shostakovich’s 《Piano Concerto No. 1》 major from Analysis and treatment of technical difficulties and cooperation of Solo and Concerto respectively.
