A Study Of The Feminist Features In Anes Waldart 's Drama

Agnes Varda,is a famous French female director,is honored as the mother of the French new wave movie. As a pioneer director,she created a lot of Documentaries and Feature Movies. Her movies have their own unique style and research value,particularly in the areas of the feminist research. In her films,she presents women’s real life situation and difficulties in social life,the performance of self-seeking and the process of growth of them. She not only gives women deep、objective humane care,but also constantly thinks about how women get freedom and happiness in self 、society、marriage and love through her unique Feminist thought. Feminist studies on Varda abroad are relatively mature,but in our country,we do not have so much.This paper intends to adopt critical methods of feminist research and the research method of Movie Ontology to research Agnes Varda’s Feature Movies,especially in her four representative movies. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is the Introduction;the second chapter,which is basing on the film text,explores her Feminism thought in Feature Movies;the third chapter is the conclusion and prospect. By the above study,this paper attempts to enrich the study of Agnes Varda’s films,saluting the outstanding filmmaker-Agnes Varda.
