A Study On Popularization Of Literature And Art In Soviet Area

The literature and art in Soviet Area is created within the process of the sinicization of Marxism. It is a policy to practice the union of literature and art with politics under that special environment of society in China.It corresponds to the needs of politics and follows the laws of progressive literature and art. And it makes unique contribution to the spreading of Chinese Communist Party’s ideas and missions and to the revolutionary war in China. The popularization of the Soviet Area literature and art has shown its progressive and advanced nature.The popularization of the Soviet Area literature and art grows from a special environment and has its own institutional system to guarantee its position and role in history. The thesis is constituted by seven parts including introduction and conclusion and so on. The main parts define some key words and creates that pan-politicization environment of society cultivates soil to realize the popularization of literature and art. The social life including literature and art is all incorporated into politic structures. So it becomes an important strategy to serve politics and revolution by using the power of literature and art to launch the masses. And from this perspective, it is necessary and reasonable to practice the popularization. The traditional thoughts of literature and art carrying ideas of Tao build the theoretical basis on literary and artistic popularization going side by side revolutionary literary theory of Marxism. The institutional system is crucial to carry out the popularization of Soviet Area literature and art. The literary and artistic institution in the Soviet Area is the application of principle of party regulation of literature in Soviet Union. The part of the practice of popularization mainly explains how literary and artistic creation,narrative strategy and literary criticism in the Soviet Area practice the ideas of serving politics and realizing popularization and how they really influence the daily lives of workers, peasants and soldiers and even reconstruct their thoughts. The thesis further explores the inevitability of the success to practice popularization by contrasting with Popular Literature Movement launched by Kuomintang, which may show the uniqueness and progressiveness of Soviet Area literature and art. And this is the innovative point of the thesis. In the end,the thesis expounds the status and role of the popularization in history. In this part,it is shown that the popularization of the Soviet Area literature and the left-wing literature are related to each other horizontally. Historically, the popularization has a good and direct relation with Ya’an literature and art. Furthermore, it has a great impact on modern literary practice.The popularization of the Soviet Area literature and art is the origin of people-centered literary view.Though it lives a short life in Chinese history and withdraws after the Long March, the idea of popularization continues to display in Yan’an with a sustainable impact on modern literary in our new era. Even in modern society with economic globalization and political pluralism, the core and operating mechanism of the popularization are also necessary and of far-reaching significance.
