| Intertexuality is one of the most important theories in modern literary. Thanks to its inclusivity of literature tradition and expansibility of literary research field, intertexuality plays more and more important role in both literary research and literary writing. French scholar Roland Barthes, had huge influence on the development of intexteruality theory. Fragment d’un discours amoureux, published in 1977, is his first works, adopting the theory and approach of intexteruality. Barthes has spent two years of research on this works from 1975. It brought tremendous impact, after publishing. Readers have seen the intexteruality theory has been magnified in this works. And it also developed a new literary writing approach. This article is attempting to get into Barthes’ intexteruality theory via basic text theory and characteristics. To interpret ‘Fragment d’un discours amoureux’, by selecting the two main intexteruality sections form Fragment d’un discours amoureu-Goethe’s The sorrows of young Werther and Plato’s Symposium. Via analyzing the practice of intertexteruality writing approach and the adopted script, I ‘ll try to explore other writing and express possibilities. |
