People can not live without decision-making.Decision making is the process of making a choice from a number of programs to accomplish a certain goal. Since the expected utility theory has proposed, the hypothesis of "rational man" has always been questioned, more and more factors is believed to have influenced the decision, the specific performance is on decision time, decision confidence degree and risk preference effect. In recent years, the need for cognitive closure and psychological distance has attracted much attention of researchers. There is plenty of evidence to show that both have a significant impact on decision making. The need for closure (NFC) is a desire for definite knowledge on some issue. It will be affected by the environment although NFC is a stable personality trait. The psychological distance refers to the subjective perception of the time, space, society, and the probability of the four attributes of a thing with respect to the distance between the reference point. As there was no studies combined NFC and the psychological distance before, the research is for the purpose of introducing the NFC and psychological distance into decision making initially. This study, with experimental methods, aim to explore the influence of psychological distance (time, space and Society) and the need for closure to decision-making and the possible interaction between the two factors. The results of the study:1,NFC has a significant effect on decision making. Those who have low need for cognitive closure of individual decision-making time, confidence level is lower; those who have high need for cognitive closure of individual decision time is shorter, decision confidence level is higher and tend to choose the risky option.2,The three dimensions of psychological distance have a significant impact on the strategy. The specific performance of the psychological distance of the individual decision-making time is longer; far psychological distance individual decision-making time is short, tend to choose the risk option.3,NFC and psychological distance have an interactive effect on decision making. Psychological distance can increase the time of those who have high need for cognitive closure, while those who have lower need for cognitive closure were not affected.Research significance:first, this study verifies and enrich the cognitive closure need, psychological distance influence on decision-making research; then, this study has help policymakers to avoid cognitive closure on decision making required a negative impact, and to provide certain reference for the organization management and selection.
