Research On The Development Of Cultural Industry In Yanbian Area

Cultural industry is one of the most popular industries. It is based on the existing national creative cultural content and is a typical future-oriented industry of recreation, high risk, high rate of return and high added value. Cultural industry, in today’s world, is not only the fundamental of improving the public’s quality of life, but also a direct driver of national economic development. Cultural creation is the source of cultural industry, so it has certain significance for the "creation" that is necessary for the economy. Therefore the attention to cultural industry has been increasing nowadays. At present owning various cultures and efficiently converting them to merchandise is of vital importance for national economic development.Culture is the consequential Characterization of human activities. There are variety of cultural spirits and products in different ages and nationalities. Cultural industry has become the core industry from a periphery industry as the scientific progresses and the time of knowledge-based economy. In recent years, cultural industry in Yanbian area has been promoted fast by the support of a series of cultural policies. The scale of cultural industry has grown tremendously, which has resulted in higher efficiency on boosting employment than other industries. It also helped speed up the local economic development and has consistently increased the contribution to the economic growth rate. However compared with the more developed cities, the gap is still significant.
