Digital Extension Of Picture Photography

Under the history background of high art photography, which is the origin of Pictorialism, this thesis discuss the evolution of the Pictorialism photography from 20 th century. Based on this research, explore personal creation of Pictorialism.There are four chapters of this thesis. The first chapter is about how the Pictorialism genre came into being in the 19 th century Europe. The soul of the Pictorialism impacts so far till now. The second chapter tells that because of time changing and technology improving, the theme of Pictorialism is becoming more and more clear.The third chapter emphatically introduce how computer and internet technology give us more ways to do art creation.The last chapter explains my experiment of Pictorialism. To sum up, as a forecast, in Digital Age artists can deal with the Pictorialism photography as whatever they want, and can even create a fantastic and perfect picture.
