A Study On The Demonstration Design Of Urban Planning Museum In China

With the acceleration of our country’s urbanization process,all walks of society are paying more and more attention to the urban planing.Urban planing museum whose goals are showing the planing and construction of urban gets a rapid development.From the provinces to cities even to districts and counties,as well as some developed towns built urban planing museums.At one time, it raised a hot wave of construction of Urban planing museum.Although the rapid development in short term has achieved some successes,due to the lack of professional experiences and immaturity in all the aspects,there are still many problems behind the facial prosperity.This article analyzes and researches the current situation of exhibition of urban planning museum in China by some methods like field investigation,statistic collection and demonstration method. First of all,it comes to a conclusion that at present,our exhibition of urban planing museum exists some problems below : too much in common with other kinds of museum;stereotype of construction in content;outdated content;slow update; the poor proportion of useful information, lack of public attention; overly glorification in content,insufficient display of city’s objectivity;imperfection of reflex function,lack of the vitality in content;blindly requesting in dimension of sand table model instead of suitability;poor combination between small and medium-sized model and the space;the conception of stressing the image and underestimating interaction going wrong;the confusion of space lighting environment under the scientific background;lack of regional features,imitation existing everywhere;one-sided emphasis on flexibility and weakening the integrity of spatial structure.Second,this article analyzes causes of existing problems from three aspects in order to give some references for further progress:the profession of exhibition,the urban planning and structure,construction and operating system.In the end,via the analysis of some excellent urban planing museums in which we can adjust functional orientation. The goal audience is ordinary people;building variant patterns and some spaces designed for experiencing;four enlightenment s of building display pattern in exhibiting the regional features.
