Then I will find the development of Western symphonic choreography in China, mainly Western symphonic choreography and China learningfrom the Western. The secondly, I will explain use of the texture of music and dance in the choreography of dance works. I willexplainthe type of musical texture and the translation of theory from musical texture to texture of dance. The textures of dance includethe single texture of dance, the homophonic texture of dance and the polyphonic texture of dance. The thirdly,I will explain the result of using the mixed texture in dance works. There is the symmetry of the single texture of dance, the balance of the homophonic texture of dance and the asymmetry of the polyphonic texture of dance.
