Study On The Application Of Group Dance Composition From The Perspective Of Gestalt Theory

In an era of image and information expansion,people's expectations for visual aesthetics have far exceeded any previous period.As an important tool of choreography,dance composition techniques have gradually developed from small scale and specialization to popularization.As an important branch of choreography techniques,dance composition should also develop to large scale,specialization and popularization.In this paper,the composition of group dances in dance creation is taken as the research object,using the methods of documentation,video observation and case analysis.Starting from the concepts of stage space and dance picture,the composition of group dances is analyzed,and it is integrated with the main theoretical ideas of Gestalt psychology.Then,the application of Gestalt psychology theory in group dancing composition is analyzed.The following conclusions are drawn:1.The principle of "visual illusion" and "graph-bottom relationship" based on Gestalt psychology can be applied to group dance composition in dance creation and produce certain visual effects.2.The application methods of the principle of "Visual illusion" in group dance composition include "linear" perspective illusion composition,"light and shadow" perspective illusion composition,"dynamic" visual illusion composition,and "dislocation" perspective illusion composition.3.The application effects of the principle of "visual illusion" in group dance composition include:linear perspective illusion composition helps to change the depth of stage space;light and shadow perspective illusion composition helps to change the dimension of stage space;dynamic vision illusion composition helps to deepen the theme of dance works;and dislocation perspective illusion composition helps to shape the image of works.4.The presentation ways of the principle of "graph-bottom relationship" in group dance composition are as follows:group dance is presented in the form of "graph" in the composition,and group dance is presented in the form of "bottom" in the composition.5.The application methods of group dance in the form of "picture" in composition include:group dance composition with dancers as "picture" and stage as "bottom",which is suitable for the creation of dance focusing on the shaping of characters or group images;group dance composition with dancers as "picture-bottom" relationship,which is suitable for the creation of dance with strong plot antagonism or emotional balance between groups.6.The application methods of group dance in the form of "bottom" in composition are as follows:group dance composition with stage as "picture" and dancer as "bottom",which is suitable for dancing creation with emphasis on emotional expression of stage props,scenery,clothing and lighting;group dance composition with "picture-bottom" relationship between dancers,which is suitable for highlighting emotional strength between solo dances or groups because of plot needs.Balanced dance creation.
