As a typical genre of drama with multiple tunes including of Gao Qiang, Kun Qiang, Luantan, based on“er fan”, “xipi”as the main places, Ganju( Jiangxi opera) is the distinctive local traditional opera formed in Raohe and Xin Jiang basin of northeastern Jiangxi Province, in the middle of the Qing Dynasty Qianlong and Jiaqing period,which used to be called “Jiangxi opera troupes”, “Raohe Opera”, “Xinhe Opera”.The formation of Ganju( Jiangxi opera) is the results of the replacement of old and new local drama tune, with its continuous integration and fast development, folkbased aspect. Ganju is the furnace of a multi tunes drama of Gao Qiang, Kun Qiang, Luantan, formed in the competition between the Chinese traditional opera and the elegant department during the middle of the Qing Dynasty. Among them Yiyangqiang, the oldest local opera was one of the four main operatic tunes forming in the Ming Dynasty. Ganju, a typical genre of drama with multiple tunes has been basically formed in mid Qing Dynasty and with the continuous development of the times.The traditional repertoires of Ganju has notable features of multiple fusion. Ganju is a high pitched of three tune opera, including Kunqiang, Luantan, each tune has its own traditional repertoires. “Raohe Opera” inherits many Yiyangqiang repertoires pihuang repertoire, especially with distinctive xipi repertoire. “Xinhe Opera” takes Jiangsu and Zhejiang opera Luantan, Anhui opera, tanhuang and popular repertoires and interlinks them. At the same time each tune has its own repertoires and form the different style of classical repertoires. Among them, the traditional theatrical piece of Yiyangqiang tune and pihuang are mainly based on the history of political struggle story theme in Spring and Autumn Period and “Romance of the Three Kingdoms”, “the Water Margin”; Their creative drama presents a different pursuit: Jiangxi Kunqu repertoires in auspicious opera and drama with military themes; Zhejiang various Luantan and civil word and miscellaneous Chamber Opera mainly to the emotion of male and female family life as the theme.Performing system, dialect, melody and instruments are the core elements of local operas. These four factors constitute characteristics of local opera. This article is from the four aspects as the foundation, carries on the investigation and research on the performance of early Ganju.As a traditional folk opera, in the era of network media, with the accelerated pace of change in people’s way of life, information dissemination network fragmentation, economic and cultural globalization and urbanization process is accelerating, Ganju inevitably suffered a bottleneck in the course of the development, and faced severe challenge to existence. Therefore, it is necessary to thoroughly study early Ganju performance situation at in-depth cultural perspective, and tries to put forward some reasonable and feasible suggestions for the inheritance and development of the opera.
