Along with China’s political, economic and cultural development, digital technology has been rapid development. Development of digital technology and maturity to the advertising industry has brought a huge space for development,multimedia advertising came into being. In the rapid development of multimedia advertising, although the traditional print advertising industry has gradually shrinking trend, but print ads design elements are in display advertising to survive, and to show a new way to present in front of consumers.This paper will present a multimedia advertising background, graphic design element breakthrough, combined with traditional print advertising design language,using the analysis, induction, comparative analysis and so on traditional print ads and display ads were objective analysis and compare. This article summarized multimedia advertising and traditional print advertising is different, and multimedia advertising absorb and learn from traditional print advertising design elements and aesthetic requirements on the basis of traditional print advertising on, and to achieve the traditional print ads do not have interactivity. Meanwhile, the paper also today my traditional print advertising and media platforms boast dynamic design objective situation analysis, combined with the characteristics of the new media, summed up the new laws of formal beauty of graphic design elements should be in the cross-media ad platforms to follow.Study graphic design visual elements in the form of cross-media platform, dynamic design, modern advertising design brings a source of new impetus to the development and design thinking, in order to make more dynamic cross-media platform designed to maximize communication, to fully combined with modern digital technology and adapt to the aesthetic needs of consumers.
