Author pay lots of attentions on the personal expression of style of Song Zhi Gang’s documentary. The dissertation mainly to explain the narrative voice, narrative structure arrangement, visual style, technique and subject matter montage group then carried the theme and so on. Meanwhile, author also claims that the creative limitations of Song Zhi Gang need to be reflected to have a comprehensive understanding of director Song Zhi Gang.Therefore, this dissertation will mainly research the documentary creative advantages and features of Song Zhigang from the following five aspects.At the first part, author mainly researched the forming process of his creative environment and creation feature by study his documentary the context of times. Moreover, the third chapter is to research the most important features of creation which focus on the individual opinion description. The fourth chapter described the social meaning of Song Zhi Gang documentary and its limitations,mainly analyzes the universal value behind his subjects,In the last, author claimed that the limitations of Song Zhi Gang’s documentary by analyzed the China System, elite culture demands and etc.
