Since the industrial civilization, human beings neglect the natural home of human nature in the root meaning in the process of access to natural resources, unilaterally as a tool to use, throwing ourselves into the abyss of ecological crisis with our own hands.As early as nineteenth Century, although the shortage of resources,environmental degradation and ecological crisis had not been so obvious and outstanding like nowadays, but Marx began to pay attention to the natural premise of social historical development, emphasizing human beings’natural attributes.the need to develop and change, coordination of external nature and the environment should be consistent, clarified that the material transformation relationship between human beings is a kind of CO evolution. In twentieth Century, the same in capitalist society. Holmes Rolston broke through the traditional two points of view of fact and value, emphasised the ecological integration, derived from the value oriented moral, then combined with natural philosophy and moral philosophy, known as the "father of environmental ethics". This paper focuses on Marx’s and Rolston’s view of nature and the relationship between human beings, the background, research perspective, the path and Rolston’s view of nature in the natural essence, man and nature and methods of road between Marx’s natural view of comparative study. By comparison, mining of China’s ecological civilization construction enlightenment, so as to guide our practice.The content of this exhibition is as follows:The first part, discusses Marx’s view of nature.Marx’s view of nature was based on certain social historical conditions and the formation of source theory.In view of the latest achievements and development of natural science in the middle and later periods of the 19th century capitalism application of the machine, as well as the ancient Greek philosophy and modern western theory of natural, especially through Hegel and Feuerbach sublation of human and the nature.Marx put forward the concept of humanized nature, the source of the alienation between man and nature and man, nature and society historical unity of thinking.The second part, discusses Rolston’s view of nature. Rolston was affected by his growing experience as well as the time of natural scientific achievements and anthropocentrism, earth ethics such as academic trend, he put forward natural value theory, ecological whole theory as well as the moral and ethical thoughts of people and natural relation thinking.The third part, focuses on comparison between Marx’s and Rolston’s view of nature. First of all, analyses the similarity of the both views of nature from the attitude of nature, the natural value judgment, analysis the relationship between human and nature; Secondly, points out that the different of both view of nature from the definition of nature, the understanding of natural value, the role of people, ecological system construction and implementation path; Finally, analyses the limitations of Rolston’s view of nature.The fourth part, mainly by comparing Marx and rolston’s view of nature, absorbs the views of nature from Marx and Rolston,guiding the practice of ecological civilization construction in our country,to clarify the relationship between man and nature better, to use of natural productive forces and natural value better, to explore thebetter way to practice of the concept of green development in China.
