In the character image mold, the plot arrangement, environment atmosphere foil, Zhang Ailing has made it of its own. Especially her female characters whom she had formed. However, we often overlooked the male role besides these women when focusing our attention on her well-groomed female characters. In the male role, to shape the role of "father" is another characteristic of Zhang Ailing’s literary works. In this paper, we focus on the role of father in Eileen Chang’s text and its characteristics and significance.Zhang Ailing all kinds of Father Images in her novels, but these “fathers” were incompleted and imperfect in both mind and body. The reason of this style of printing or writing is related on her lack of life experience. The thoughts of her attitude on “Fathers” in her articles are not the same. From negative to belittle, and to complete expulsion and castration, it is a process of revenge from trial the father to patricide. The article aim to extract the “father image” from her novels, analyse and research her shape strategy systemly. In addition, the article also study her writing purpose associated with patriarchy-centered culture. We regard the text as a whole, exploring the significance of the role and its cultural and historical significance of these father images. From this study we can experience her another deep thought of life concept and feel her struggle. Her criticism to the "role of the father" contains the forecast of the patriarchy collapse and the concerns about the changes of patriarchal family structure. This article is trying to focus on problem solving.
