He also enjoys the reputation of "people’s musician" and created a lot of works of different genres in his life.among which orchestral music, choral songs and mass songs are well-known to us all, such as "Chinese Rhapsody", "Yellow River Cantata", "song at midnight". However, the great influence of these works almost covers up the creation of the ancient poetry and songs. Till today, the value of Xian Xinghai’s poetry and songs still hasn’t aroused wide attention of the music industry. This paper is trying to analyze the morphology of the 22 ancient poem songs and summer up the value of song and poems of his.
