Wash The Xinghai <yellow River Cantata "version,

The purpose of this essay is to study the famous Chinese composer Mr. Xian, Xinghai and his great"Yellow River Cantata."There are four available versions of this cantata. They are: the original version, which was composed in Yan'An, March, 1939; the second version complied and re-arranged in former Soviet Union, 1941; the third version was edited by another Chinese composer, Mr. Li, Huanzhi.during 1950's; the fourth version was edited by the famous Chinese conductor Mr. Yan, Liangkun during 1970's. The writer intends to compare and analyze these different versions of the Cantata according to their different background and occasions, and find out some useful materials and experiences to help conductors to understand the work deeply and more comprehensive dimensions.
