Background :whenOCDpatients complete an action that may induce compulsion,such as close a door,he may set some memory clues in order to remind himself that the action have complete.Thesephenomenon may contain two themes :memory deficit and fear. study: OCI-CV is used to screen out high obsessive compulsive symptom subjects(HOCs) and low obsessive compulsive symptom subjects(LOCs). the main purpose of experiment 1is to explore whether the OCD patients have high feeling of fear. In experiment 1:three conditional stimulus(circle,CSc; square,CSb+; triangle,CSa+)were matched with two unconditional stimulus(negative affective pictures;neutral affective pictures). CSc was matched with neutralaffective pictures.CSb+andCSa+ were matched with negative affective pictures. subjects were asked to evaluate the appearance of negative affective pictures. The result of experiment 1 show that:compare with LOCs, HOCs are more tend to belief the appearance of negative affective pictures. The subjects’ evaluation of appearance of negative affective pictures were positively correlation with scores on OCI-CV. The purpose of experiment 2 was to explore whether there is memory deficit on HOCs. In experiment 2: subjects’ short-term memory were tested under fear conditioning and no fear conditioning. The result of experiment 2 show that : there is no memory deficit observed under fear conditioning and no fear conditioning. Conclusion: OCD may be the result of fear on normal things instead of memory deficit. combining these conclusion with the latest study on OCD. We propose a new model of OCD: the contradiction model of OCD. In these model,OCD is interpreted to be the result of fear on normal things which result double criterions(normal criterions and abnormal criterions) to the completeness of that things. The double criterions result anxiety,and it is critical to obsessive and compulsive. In order to get more enlightenments on treatment,we explored the development of fear on OCD. combining our study with the latest study, we think that the abnormal of fear of OCD result from the deficit of Securely attached. The fear of OCD is defuse, so that it can adhere to common things.
