However, most of these researches only consider animation as a commercial activity instead as art work. To animation itself, the research of aesthetic level of experiment animation still has a long way to go in China. Although the animation styles are quiet different in experimental animation, the blank background is still a common element. There is misunderstanding about that blank that it is simple and meaningless, but it is not true. The blank in experimental animation has the special function and meaning.
