With the rapid development of logistics industry in china, the third party logisticsenterprises gradually operate on scale.By further investigation, I found that a type ofnarrow sense called third-party logistics provider can be more representative. Thebasic functions as pick-and-pack, warehousing, and distribution are not their mainactivities. They go into depth in outsourcing and offer more value-added services. At the same time, the different liabilities and risk preventions should also beemphasized. Generally speaking, logistics services are integrated together by3PLsproviders including transportation, warehousing, inventory management and otherexpanded services. These make3PLs providers in multiple legal relationships. Thereare varieties provisions for the liability limitation and imputation principle of3PLsproviders in different situation. How to apply laws correctly and how to determine theresponsibilities of3PLs providers, are the main emphasis in this paper. In addition, there is not a special law for the third party logistics in China.3PLsproviders usually feel confused by the numerous provisions and regulations. Theauthor will analyze the legal environment of third party logistics and offer someuseful advices for the structure of liability for3PLs providers. I hope that the thirdparty logistics industry in China can be more competitive with the sound of the law.
