Women 's Participation In Politics And Its Implementation In International Law

Women in most countries suffer from a low social status. That’s because womencannot get fully involved into the management of public life and women’s interests andconceptions have very limited influence on national decision making. This thesisobserves the status quo of women’s political rights and reviews the development ofinstitutions that protect the enforcement of women’s political rights. This thesis alsofocuses on obstacles against the protection of women’s political rights and possiblesolutions by comparing cases of different countries in terms of right enforcement. Thisthesis aims at improving political awareness among women and providing referencefor future studies.
