Research On Women's Right To Participate In Political Affairs At The Present Stageof China

The protection of women's right to political participation has been improved in China.China has always attached great importance to women's right to participate in political affairs.Especially,equality between men and women has been the basic principle Written in 1954 to the constitution.Women's political participation has become a trend.Besides the form of equality,women's right to political participation should also achieve substantive equality.That is to say,not only in quantity,it should be equal in the selection system,the political structure of political participation and the level of political participation.Since 1949,the status of women's political rights has been improved effectively,which has been greatly improved in terms of the number,proportion and the level of political participation.However,because women have been oppressed in China for a long time,women's right to participate in political affairs has being facing many problems.Such as,the imperfection of legislation and selection system,the lack of supervision mechanism and the unreasonable structure of women's right to participate in political affairs.Based on the analysis of women's participation in political affairs,the reasons for these problems in women's political rights are studied,including women's physiological,historical and social development factors.For women who have been involved in political affairs,the conflict between the role of women's political participation and the role of the female family is an important factor affecting the advancement of women's positions.The level of women official position will affect the degree of women's participation in political affairs,it also affects the realization of the substantive equality of political participation between men and women.Through constant exploration,we have found effective measures to improve the reality of women's participation in political power : Sound laws guaranteeing women's participation in power;Optimizing modern gender culture;To give full play to women's organizations;Female professional role and family role adjustment.
