The 2008 US Presidential Election is a furious contest. Hilary Clinton will be the first woman president in the America history if she wins this election. And we can see she is very excellent as well as other male competitor. In 2007, there appears many outstanding women leader in the world political stage. For example, Germany's premier minister, France presidential candidate, North Korea premier minister Han Myung_sook, India Sonia Gandhi, Philippine president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, US Secretary of States Condoleezza Rice, Britain's former premier minister Margaret Hilda Thatcher and so on. In China, from Lv Hou, Wu Zetian and Ci Xi of the ancient times, Qiu Jin, Song Qingling and Song Meiling to Wu Yi and Fan Xulitai, there are many splendid women political character in the human history. But they are just like shooting stars in the sky compared with the dominated man.In fact, political participation is litmusless. Both man and woman can participate in politics. There are many factors about the low proportion of women's political participation. The history has proved to us that women can also join in politics. And women's characteristics, tender, consideration, goodness, love and sympathy, are needed in politics. Women's participation in politics can make it towards nonviolence.This paper explores the road of Chinese women's participation in politics in the base of female characteristics. The author believes that Chinese women can follow the three steps to search more extensive political participation: First, powerful support from the state. The country should make laws to regulate the ratio of women's political participation to secure the number of women in the strategic_making field. Second, the country should invest more in women's education to make sure that they can find a better job in the future. Because one can only think about their political rights after independent in economy. In the end, we should promote the construction of women's organization. Our goal is that combine the elite participation with public participation.
