Research On Constructing Self - Discipline Mechanism Of Industry Association

During the operation of the market economy, industry association can effectively compensate for the double failure of government intervention and market mechanism, standardize the behavior of market players. Its autonomic function gradually gets attention and recognition from all walks of life and becomes a market subject of economic life. The Nongfu Spring standard scandal revealed many problems of the self-regulatory mechanism in the industrial associations through the responses of relevant associations to the irregularities of Nongfu Spring. The guilds’autonomic functions have not played its proper parts.At present the self-regulatory mechanism of industry associations in our country is in the condition of the absence. The lag of relevant legislation, the imperfection of internal structure, the low degree of guilds’ autonomy and the other various barriers restrict the autonomic functions playing its proper parts. Therefore, building the self-regulatory mechanism of the industry associations becomes the main task of the development of Chinese industry associations. This paper bases on the review of the current development of self-regulatory mechanism in our industry associations and gives suggestions to the existing problems and proposes measures for the development and improvement of the self-regulatory mechanism in the industry associations from both inside and outside aspects.
